Who We Are
Home Away from Home (ADHC) is a community-based healthcare program designed to meet the needs of adults with ongoing medical issues or other impairments (e.g., physical, psychiatric, cognitive).
Our goal is to help both the participant and the care-giver.
Our programs are designed to improve the health and activity levels of the participant, while providing the caregiver time for a much-needed respite.
Our daily support enables adults to remain within their living community!

Biography
As a United States veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict and a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, I am proud to have worked in the municipal finance and investment banking industry. However, my true passion lies in my work at Home Away From Home, an independently owned Adult Day Health facility in the Merrimack Valley.
Our team of healthcare professionals is committed to improving the well-being of our participants and creating an environment that fosters independence with dignity and respect. It's truly rewarding to see the positive impact that our staff has on their lives, and I am honored to be part of such a caring team.

As a licensed independent clinical social worker, my mission at Home Away From Home is to make sure our program is truly a second home for each of our participants. I believe that feeling a sense of belonging is essential to one's well-being, and our team is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone is treated like family.
At Home Away From Home, we believe in enhancing all aspects of our participants' lives, including medical, social, and cultural. Our diverse calendar of activities empowers participants to choose how they spend their day based on their preferences, and our caring staff gets to know each participant as an individual to provide the personalized care they need.
As the leader of this innovative program, I'm proud of our staff's commitment to going above and beyond to put a smile on our participants' faces. The connections made between staff and participants are genuine and noticeable, and I feel privileged to be a part of such a caring community.
